HEIGL, BUTLER TOO UGLY FOR ONE SHEET?

Rather than going with the obvious go-to money shots of Katherine Heigl's cleavage or Gerard Butler's torso, which would pull in enough tickets from both sides of the gender fence to at least cover marketing costs, the producers of the upcoming romantic comedy, The Ugly Truth have chosen to keep things simple with the cleverly apt one sheet to the immediate right to promote their movie.Directed by Robert Luketic (21, Monster-In-Law), the film has Heigl portraying a romantically hard-up morning show producer who finds herself going through a series of love trials at the goading of her chauvanistic correspondent (Butler) in order to disprove his sexist theories on relationships. The results of which you can probably guess.
In unrelated news, Heigl decided to keep her name off of the upcoming One Sheet Awards because she didn't feel that the poster gave her enough to do to warrant a nomination.

This'll blow. I'm really tired of the whole women think with their heads and men think with their privates shtick. Women think with their feelings and they seem to think that because they have sooooo many, constantly oscillating ones, they are somehow more cerebral than men. Come on Gerard this stuff is not your forte.

I am tired of the pathetic Heigl digs by people who should know better. Of course being a woman she is not entitled to have an opinion. Whatever.

She can have an opinion. And everyone can comment on whether they agree with her opinion or whether they think she's a self-righteous snob who only got so far in life because of her bustline.

ssmateo, if Clooney made a similar gesture as Heigl regarding her nomination, would there be digs and insinuations against his credibility?
I don't care the kinds of movies she does, never watched her show, but the girl deserves a few points more than what she gets.
Comment #6 (Posted by George Clooney...)
The difference, of course, is that George Clooney didn't make those comments.
Comment #7 (Posted by The Real George Clooney)
People like Clooney make comments that lead to digs and jabs all the time. In keeping with the example, Clooney is often mocked for his tirades at whatever happens to be bugging him at the moment (paparazzi, Fabio, etc.). Don't even try the sexist card, man.
Let the digs commence.
