Hairspray not only happened, it made money. Now, not only is the deflated and crestfallen little cherub known as New Line Cinema making another one, they're hiring the molestache of the original to write the damn thing!
Apparently they're trying to bring all of the assholes from the original back, which pleases me because I like having diarrhea.
