Honestly, after viewing this new trailer for Staunton Hill that Dread Central got the exclusive on I didn't think it was much of an improvement over the one I told you about here. Sure, the Tea Lady (Kathy Lamkin) from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, 2003 and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning is present and the footage does exhibit a somewhat menacing tone, but other than that there wasn't much in this that screamed good balls-to-the walls hardcore horror to me.

I don't know, maybe director Cameron Romero isn't showing all of his cards thus far when it comes to this movie, but to me a trailer is supposed to give you just a brief overview on what the film's about, something that seemed a little vague in the trailer (see synopsis here), and, above all else, it should whet your appetite. I don't know. I'm just not feeling it here. Perhaps you'll think otherwise. I just hope my disappointment in this new trailer is unfounded when I see the finished film.
