Mike Howland

Mike is all about the drawing and the funny(ish). After chronicling a number of hilarious (relatively speaking) drunken exploits of his misspent youth in Hat City Comic, Mike is now the creator of Rated AARGH! which allows him to draw zombies and other such things that go bump in the night on a weekly basis. This makes him an exceptionally happy guy, though he does have an odd penchant for speaking (and writing) in the third person.

People were right! Movies are a bad influence! Especially movies based on comics. It would only be worse if they were turned into videogames...

RATED AARGH! #95 - WANTED: A GOOD LAWYER

First of all, I thought this movie was frikkin' fan-to-the-tastic. So much better than I thought it was going to be. I saw it in a smaller local theatre (they sell beer!) and the whole crowd was loving it. I suspect most of them were high, but still, there were just so many great parts, both action and comedy, that I have to give it two thumbs and a couple of toes up.

Now, that whole curving bullet thing in the trailer though, that is bound to cause some trouble for some impressionable idiots. If Varsity Blues taught us anything, it's that this whole thing really can't end well. And whipped cream makes a great bikini, but I digress. At least it's not a video game. Then we'd never hear the end of it...
