Good Day!Every Monday - Friday I'll be syndicating a page from one of several comic books I've been working on for the past year as CHUD's redesign came together [yeah, still working on that] in an effort to make the site also be a haven for creative stuff that's not just us talking about movies and stuff but a place to share new stuff that lives its own life. Stuff like my [hated] comic strip. Stuff like CHUDstories [anyone want to spearhead that?]. Stuff like the Podcast [which will be available to listen to directly off the site next week]. Stuff like some upcoming things we'll be working on.
And stuff like these comic books, which will run on CHUD.com for the duration of their lives [and hopefully see print sooner than later]. You'll be seeing the comic books PAIN, The Crawl, The Bridger Adventures, This Hollow World, and possibly a few others.
Today, we feature The Bridger Adventures, written by myself and Steve Murphy, drawn and lettered by Matt Kimble, with layout by Simon O. Wright. I'm going to treat this like the Sid & Marty Krofft and alternate between titles each day to showcase the variety and allow the storylines to unfold at their own pace. I really hope you like 'em. Also, I have hundreds of these pages done so don't be worried that this will disappear.

uhh, hmm.....well.....it's ah, umm.......yup, that's a comic, and um......I'm sorry, just making sure, this is chud.com right? Cinematic Happenings Under Development? Really? Just making sure, I mean with this comic thing and those video games, and lack of just discussions about films. Like Into The Wild, thought that was a great movie, even though it took a different approach than the book, still thought it was pretty great. What did you think of the movie Nick?

give us more than just one page at a time. looking forward to reading more.

Yeah. I guess when I click to chud.com I'm not really looking to be piecemealed over the course of weeks (months?) a page from comics in which I have no interest. Shouldn't you try to find a proper place to present these like...I don't know...a comic book showcase website? (Heavy sigh.) Otherwise keep up the good work.

These are the same comics that have been posted before, right? Wouldn't it make more sense to put out pages from the same comic for one week, then a different comic the next? Trying to follow these stories one page at a time, all at the same time, is a terrible idea. Or at least upload enough pages so that there's a complete scene. It's like promoting a movie by releasing clips that stop halfway through a line.

Written with Steve Murphy! That guy needs to get more things done on CHUD. Maybe that's just my love for the podcasts shining through... Good stuff, but Nunz, some of these grouchos are right; it's a little too piecemeal. But hey, whatever - your website, your rules. Keep it coming.

Couldn't we at least get a couple of pages a day or at least 5 pages from one single comic a week? One page a day each week seems like it's going to be too disjointed to get any interest going in these. And what ever happened to Left Turn?

This kinda has that old school, EC Comics look to it. I like it.

I know what you're saying about the piecemeal thing but I want this to be a long-term thing and once there's enough pages for each title it'll flow better and I'll make sure to make it easy to flip through the pages. Hang in there, folks!

I understand! Stretch it out as long as you can!

Not bad. After the Bitter End I wasn't sure you could draw. Congratulations, on a big step up. I agree with rocko, in that i'd rather read your thoughts on cinematic happening than read some continuous strip. (miss the movie microscope) Oh well, you'll obviously do whatcha want. Curious, is it a lack of passion for movies today, burn out? Do you really feel CHUD needs comics?
