There are still people upset by the finale of The Sopranos; I loved the audacity of the ending but I can also see how some people would be left cold by the lack of closure. They're wrong, of course, but I can see where they're coming from*. These people hold out hope that there will be a return to the world of The Sopranos, perhaps a movie that will tie things up in a more conventional narrative bow.

The owner of the Satin Dolls strip club, the location used for the Bada Bing on the show, is feeding those hopes. Nick D'Urso tells the Times Herald-Record (in upstate New York! Nowhere near New Jersey!) that he's decided not to remodel his club after getting 'inside info' about a Sopranos movie. “I got an inside tip that they’re going to do a movie, so I don’t want to make any major changes,” D’Urso said Wednesday. “I’m not going to reveal my sources, but we got a call from somebody (working) on the script.”

It's hard to imagine show creator David Chase wanting to go back - that ending was not a cliffhanger but a statement. And even if they did go back, how would that work? Most of the beloved characters are dead or out of the picture, and short of going Beowulf, there's no realistic way to do a prequel. Since the show happened in real time there are large gaps between seasons, but while Chase and company could go back for an 'Untold Tales of The Sopranos,' what's the drama in that?

Realistically, I'd say that D'Urso's looking to drum up a little business for Satin Dolls. He wants to remind you that his club is the real Bing, and that he hasn't changed anything since the show stopped shooting.
