Saw this at BNAT. It is definitely akin to a feverish dream. This was aided by it being the 5am movie and me drifting in and out of sleep. I always thought I missed a ton in my dozing but reading your review I realized I didn't! Those scenes just FELT epic in length. Whew.
Fucked up movie that should not be viewed while attempting to eat breakfast at the Drafthouse. :(

I think I could kind of go my entire life without seeing this and that would be okay.

Wow. I've heard of the film and seen a few clips but haven't sat through the entire thing. I'm also impressed with how in depth this review is (three fucking pages!). Hope you can keep this up for all the movies that merit the attention.

Probably gonna be your best review in this series (hope not!) but that was a pretty incredible review Dev. You know you're at your best when you're describing the extreme stuff. This column is off to an amazing start.

When you announced that you were beginning this column with this film, I immediately added it to my Netflix queue, somewhere towards the top. Now, I'm torn as to whether I really want to see it. Of course, I'll watch it anyway.

Holy fucking shit this is incredible. Great work Devin, truly exciting goodness... One of the most well-conceived and executed online columns about movies I've seen in years. I want to see the movie and kill myself for wanting to see it because of your delightful descriptors. I absolutely cannot wait to read what other fresh horrors you've got in store for us. Please hurry with the next one.

Nice work, Devin. Great review - like others said above, it made me want to vomit and simultaneously sparked my curiosity at the same time.

Surprised this doesn't have a first page link. Forget my previous grievances -- this makes Cannibal Holocaust look like a restrained Discovery Channel doc. Can you tackle Let me Die a Woman or Teenage Mother next?
