I know at least one person that just squealed in glee at the title of this game.

Off-Road Velociraptor Safari is exactly what it sounds like, except instead of shooting the beasts you're trying to smash them up with your jeep.

Flashbang Studios just released the game complete with profiles, online leaderboards, and even achievements to unlock!

The best part is that it's absolutely free to play. What's more, you can do so right in your web browser- you just need to download a plugin and you're good to go.

It's a fun little game... the world's a lot bigger than it appears at first and there's a bunch of stuff to do besides commit vehicular dinoslaughter. There are tons of orbs to collect and places to explore. Hitting the space bar drops a spiked ball from the back of your jeep which is attached to a chain. That means you can swing it around your vehicle to smash up those raptors but good. If you're skilled (or lucky like me) you can whip your car around to the side and let it go like you're in the hammer throw in the Olympics, and watch the destruction it wrecks. There's also a boost (the B Button) so you can hit jumps and get some crazy slow-motion Burnout shots.

As a game, there's not much to it, but as an online freebie it's an excellent diversion, one I'll certainly be going back to in the middle of work...
