I don’t think Devin has yet caught Dead Snow at Sundance, but IFC’s buyers definitely did. The distributor picked up the film for U.S. distribution today. Sadly that means that if you live outside of a major metro area, you’re not likely to see the frozen tale of Nazi zombies on a theater screen. That’s not entirely a dig against IFC — we were never really likely to see this film get wide distribution. This way it will (hopefully) be readily available via alternative sources like On Demand.
Personally, I’ve been staying away from most of the available trailers and material. I like the concept well enough that I’d like to catch it in as close to an uninformed state as I’m likely to get. But don’t let that stop you from watching a clip or two.
