Colorists weave a magic wand. They can make chintzy plastic look like cast iron, silly spandex leotards look like high-tech super suits, and more so they can change the entire look and feel of a movie, sometimes for the better, often times… eh, not. Such is the case with Zach Snyder’s Man of Steel, as presented by the fine stalwarts at VideoLab in this fun little breakdown. Imagine, a Superman film that feels like a Superman film! Or, as they say in the video, “Superman should fly in blue skies. Not grey ones.” Word up.
