Going to be frank with you guys, I haven’t seen Oldboy in a good long time. I love the movie, but it’s been a while. Still, the trailer for Spike Lee’s re-adaptation of Oldboy boasts a whole lot of very familiar images, to the point that I’m feeling a little less confident about this whole thing. There are clearly changes (BIG changes), and Brolin is so good that I’ll still ultimately see it with some excitement, but I hope there’s a meaningful light at the end of this tunnel. Still love the poster.
