The last week has been one of the most stressful, sleepless of my life (for good reasons), and I have at more than one time sat down and watched the gorgeous Man Of Steel trailer as a way to calm down and relieve some of that stress. Now that I’ve gotten a taste of some of that scale and majesty I’d been hearing so much about, I simply can not wait for this film. I get the sense that I’m not alone.
Along with some new print images (including the red-eyed Michael Shannon seen above), we have two covers for the June issue of Empire, which have Superman and Zod striking poses against lens-flares. I love how Cavill’s bulk and Shannon’s suit finally turn these characters into more comic book-like titans.
So check out the new Empire, and try and contain yourself until June 14th.
